(Amman, Jordan – May 15, 2016) -- Representatives from Orange Jordan recently visited Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) with two key tasks on the agenda: inauguration of Orange free wifiGreen Area in PSUT campus and meeting Orange sponsored Engineering students. The visit, , was attended by HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, CEO of Orange Jordan, Jérôme Hénique, Chief Enterprise Officer of Orange Jordan, Sami Smeirat, , and President of PSUT Mashhour Al-Refai, and featured discussions on anticipated future collaboration between Orange Jordan and the university.
In 2012, Orange Jordan sponsored five PSUT students to complete their bachelor's degree studies at the university mainly in Engineering Discipline. These students will be trained as well at Orange Jordan to learn technical skills in the telecommunications industry and will be given priority during Orange employee recruitment. Also during the visit, Orange Jordan inaugurated its free WIFI Green Area on PSUT premises. whereby Orange Jordan has granted tables and benches around the Orange Green Area, free Wi-Fi, permanent Orange booth and two shelters at PSUT bus stop .
