Orange Jordan Allows Free Browsing for Aman Application

Orange Jordan announced that users of its mobile services can browse the Ministry of Health's Coronavirus detection app "Aman" for free, to support the efforts of combating Coronavirus in Jordan.

Aman app was recently launched by the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with Jordanian youth volunteers from the tech sector in local and international companies.

Orange said in a statement that this application signifies the entrepreneurial and technological potentials, which should be used to adapt to the current changes.

The application's name "Aman" which means "Security" implies that joint efforts are needed to enhance safety in Jordan; the statement said adding that contributing to keeping the Kingdom safe is a national duty.

Orange Jordan stressed on the importance of  being responsible during the time of lifting the curfew and resuming normal life by using the app which sends a notification to suspected infected individuals who have been in direct contact with infected patients. This app helps to stop the contagion chain in a faster and more effective manner and builds on the great efforts and measures taken by the public and private institutions during the crisis, to ensure achieving promising results in the coming days.

Jordanians acknowledged the application openly, whereby the users' number increased to 650,000, because of its ease of use and availability on Google Play for Android users and App Store for IOS users, in addition to respecting user's privacy policy, and information confidentiality.
