Orange Jordan granted 5 GB internet bundle, valid until 14/4/2020, to its mobile services users across the Kingdom for free. The offer falls in line with the government's decision to extend the curfew, and within the framework of the company's campaign "Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Connected" which aims to support the government's efforts to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus, by staying home.
The company also offered 20 GB internet bundle, valid until14/4/2020, to its customers in Irbid governorate for free, after increasing the governmental precautionary measures in the city, which will be accompanied with an increase in internet usage.
In a press release issued by the company, Orange Jordan stressed on its efforts to adapt to the unprecedented increase in internet usage especially via mobiles, by enhancing its networks' capacity to avoid saturation, in light of the current circumstances which has resulted with increasing dependence on internet in working remotely and e-learning, and other purposes, noting that it is observing closely its customers' needs to guarantee quality internet services and safe connection.
The company highlighted that it has taken a set of measures to help people stay home and follow the governmental instructions, such as changing the name of its network from "Orange Jo" to "Be Safe" as a reminder of the importance of staying home, which is also stemmed from its social duty in raising awareness around the precautionary measures, keeping withstanding lines active, and offering Orange Money services to all mobile users regardless of their telecom services provider to help them conduct financial transactions online.
In light of the current circumstances, the company has enhanced all its electronic channels to offer further features that encourage usage of safe technological tools from home, by offering special internet bundles at competitive prices; 10 GB for JD 1, 40 GB for JD 3 and 100 GB bundle for JD 6, which are exclusively available via My Orange App. The app allows users to control their accounts and subscriptions and stay tuned about the latest offers and services that serve their needs to benefit from them.
