In the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Majda Ra'ad, Orange Jordan recently signed a strategic agreement with Al Hussein Society (AHS). The agreement was signed on behalf of Orange Jordan by the company's CEO, Thierry Marigny, and Annie Medzhagopian, Executive Director of AHS.
According to the agreement, Orange Jordan will support the establishment of a comprehensive rehabilitation center that offers treatment programs to all segments of society and people with physical disabilities in particular, enabling them to rely on themselves and integrate in their environment.
From her side, Her Royal Highness Princess Majda Ra'ad affirmed that Orange Jordan exerted great efforts in making this cooperation a success, saying that: "Our vision regarding community work falls in line with that of Orange Jordan's, as we both agree on the importance of providing ongoing support to people with physical disabilities, as this will have a strong impact on alleviating their suffering and accelerating their integration within their communities, which will be positively reflected on them and the society".
Marigny said that this agreement reflects the company's interest in this community segment, whereby it seeks to facilitate their integration into the external environment and helps them engage with their surroundings, pointing out that the company constantly adopts initiatives that contribute to local community development, as well as help integrate special segments of society with others.
He clarified that through implementing this agreement, the company will provide the society with digital services that will assist AHS, in order to include this segment within the society, while keeping them connected to all that matters to them, in a step aimed at sustaining the society's charity work towards people with disabilities. He also pointed out that funding the establishment of the comprehensive rehabilitation center is part of the company's commitment to ensure the sustainability of community support, which is considered as one of the most important pillars of our five-year corporate strategy, "Essentials 2020".
It is worth mentioning that AHS provides many educational and healthcare programs for people with disabilities, including: education, comprehensive rehabilitation, early intervention programs, special education and learning difficulties programs, community rehabilitation and others.
